On signing up for the card you will receive a United Club membership, free checking on 2 bags, and priority check-in, security screening and boarding. If you are buying tickets with United, you will earn maximum miles, and you can earn miles on all purchases made with the card. The miles can be redeemed on flights, hotels, renting a car, cruises, upgrades, and shopping purchases. While there is no foreign transaction fee, the annual fee is pretty high.
